Delivery and materials

Each ad must include:
  • 1.1

    Static ad

    • An index.html file.
    • A capture.jpg file representing the initial state of your ad and in its exact format;
    • An assets folder containing all of the ad elements (images, scripts, etc.). Sub-folders within the Assets folder are not permitted;
  • 1.2

    Animated ad

    • An index.html file.
    • A capture.jpg file representing the initial state of your ad and in its exact format;
    • An assets folder containing all of the ad elements (images, scripts, etc.). Sub-folders within the Assets folder are not permitted;
  • 1.3

    Hype ad

    • An index.html file.
    • A capture.jpg file representing the initial state of your ad and in its exact format;
    • An index.hyperesources folder containing all of the ad elements (images, scripts, etc.). Sub-folders within the Assets folder are not permitted;
    • If your ad is designed using Hype, you must provide the original file of your project (with extension .hype).
  • More information

    • You must supply only one version of your ad (it must be compatible with both the iOS and Android versions of La Presse+).
    • All references to .css, .js, .jpg, etc. files must be contained in the index.html file. For example, if your styles.css file contains references to images used in the ad, the content of that file must be transferred to the index.html file.
    • Ad filenames (e.g., images, files, fonts) and links to websites must not contain any of the following characters: { } , ' | ^ ~ [ ] `
    • When delivering your materials, any external Web links must be embedded in the ad. Otherwise, the ad will be considered incomplete and will be returned to you.
    • The La Presse team can embed your external links for you; note, however, that an extra fee will be charged for this service.
    • Your ad must be delivered in compressed format; the .zip file must be uploaded to an FTP server. Contact supportpub@lapresse.ca for information on how to access the server.
